While SEMA 2022 may be months away, it’s never too early to begin planning for the largest automotive event of the year. Each year, the event has thousands of new products, custom vehicles, skill/education workshops, and networking opportunities that help shape the future of the automotive industry. Unfortunately, the event is not open to the general public for attendance, however, it is open to auto-trade specific vendors.
As we are quickly accelerating through Spring, we wanted to put together this post to highlight everything you need to know about the event. Let’s take a look at the most common questions heading into SEMA 2022.
When/Where is SEMA 2022?
This year, SEMA 2022 is November 1-4, and the event will occur at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces at the Convention Center are used, and there are certainly no shortages of attendees. Over 1,300 exhibitors are expected to be at the event this year. With the event being so large, attending as an exhibitor or just attending is an absolute must if you work specifically in the auto industry.
How do I register for SEMA?
Whether you’re attending or exhibiting, you can register to attend or register to exhibit on the official SEMA website. If you’re not sure which is the best for you, allow us to explain. If you’re looking to network only at the event, and make new friends and connections, attending is probably your best bet. On the flip side, if you have any products or services that you would like to promote to potential customers, exhibiting is the way to go. SEMA offers a wide-range of booth sizes and options, so you can go as large or small as you want. The important thing to remember, is that booth registration does close, and you cannot buy a booth space at the event. You can however register to attend the event at the event in Las Vegas on site.
What can I expect at SEMA?
SEMA is the premier automotive industry event, and brings individuals from all over the world to attend. At the event, you will be able to network with fellow automotive professionals and enthusiasts, and learn more about their products and services. The major auto manufacturers will also have vehicles at the event, concept cars, and even classics in other booth spaces.
Will 121eCommerce be at SEMA?
Yes! We are excited to be attending SEMA for the second consecutive year! Last year, we enjoyed attending the event, and could not pass up the opportunity to exhibit again in 2022. This year, we’ll have Ricky Bobby at our booth, so shake and bake your way over to snag a selfie, and avoid the cougar! (OK, based on SEMA guidelines, we cannot have a cougar in our booth.)
