GDPR.

Ready or not, here it comes.

On May 25th, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will become enforceable by law. Any company around the world doing with business with customers in the EU will need to comply by it.

“The EU is basically setting a global standard,” explained Larry Dignan, Editor-in-Chief, ZDNet and Editorial Director of TechRepublic.

“Anyone doing business in the EU has to comply with this regulation. It a nutshell, that covers everybody. It will become a global standard.”

If it sounds ominous, it is.
